Dr Mdumiseni B Mkhize
Dr. Mdumiseni B. Mkhize was born in Port Shepstone, KwaZulu Natal. He graduated from
the University of Pretoria with a medical degree. As a general practitioner, he has extensive
experience in the medical industry and has worked for several institutions, including Netcare and Life Network Groups.
him to deliver hundreds of healthy babies throughout his career. However, his affinity does
not prevent him from practicing medicine because his goal in becoming a doctor has always been to aid those in need. At the Far East Rand Hospital, he also chairs the Employment Equity Committee and does his utmost to prevent workplace discrimination.
As the chief medical officer and medical lead for the Cape Town Tigers in Cairo, Egypt, and
Kigali, Rwanda, Dr. Mkhize recently took part in the Basketball Africa League (BAL), the
flagship league of NBA Africa. He is a doctor who goes above and beyond the call of duty
and is knowledgeable about the medical industry
John-Ross Gwaze
John-Ross Gwaze is a strategist, entrepreneur, and organisational builder with experience across business development, governance, systems, and cross-cultural leadership.
Having worked across the United Kingdom, Southern Africa, and East Africa, John-Ross brings an international perspective and steady commercial judgement to organisational growth. His work has focused on helping ideas move beyond ambition into clear direction, sound structures, practical systems, and sustainable partnerships.
He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Theology, Ministry and Mission through Durham University, one of the UK’s leading universities. John-Ross brings a thoughtful blend of strategic insight, operational judgement, and values-led leadership to the continued growth of Dr M and M.
